Garbage Compactor Truck is a Truck for collecting garbage. There are a few types of garbage compactors with different garbage collecting method and different discharge method. I will explain the differences about those mechanism from now.

Pressure method
At first, I will explain about the difference in loading method. There are 3 types of Pressure method: Press type, Rotating Plate type, Loading Box Rotating type.

Press Type
Garbage will be pressed by the two stages each on the tank bottom and front wall. These two stages of pressings are very powerful, and they can press not only ordinary garbage but also refrigerators or furniture. So this type of the Garbage Compactor Truck can dispose the ordinary garbage to big garbage. However, since the compressing power is so strong, accidents involving people may occur, so we have to pay attention when we operate this.

Rotating Plate Type
Rotating Plate type has less power compared to the Press type. It gathers garbage together and stack up. The rotating plate pushes garbage which is loaded into the loading box, and then it will be pressed in the back with pushing board. Since the pressing power is not strong as Press type, loading capacity is less than Press type. In addition, if you load the long iron products, the operation will stop. So this is suitable for collecting wood, paper or small piece garbage.

Load Box Rotating type
Load Box Rotation type is type that involves garbage while the circular drum inside the body is rotating. The Drum is constantly turning so you can continuously add garbage. Since it does not have a small spinning board like the Rotating Plate Type, garbage bag will not be torn or scattered. Despite this advantage, load box rotating type tends not so popular because of less loading capacity. So you may not have much opportunities to encounter this type of garbage truck.
 

Discharging method
Next, I will explain about differences in the discharging method. There are 3 types of discharging method such as Extrusion type or Dump type.

Extrusion Type
It is the type that pushes garbage outward with a discharge plate in the loading box. Discharging power is so high. So it is a type that can discharge without leaving trash inside the loading box.
 

Dump Type
It is the type that the loading box can be dumped up and drain collected garbage. Since it does not push the garbage with discharge plate, fine garbage can remain in the loading box, but this dump type is compatible with a rotating plate type which is mainly used to carry light weight garbage.
