We are usually selling with used vehicles, while we are attending to release information on brand new models to read the used vehicle market.
Today we are introducing the current news of Japanese manufacturers, and we hope you are also interested in Japanese Trucks and their trends.
1) MITSUBISHI FUSO Renew Model "eCanter"
Mitsubishi Fuso announced that the new "eCanter" strengthened the safety equipment this August and sell to Japan market first, and then expand to Europe and Asian market.
eCanter is known as electric small trucks of this brand released in 2017 and sold over 160 units around the world. Its power source is all-electric, so it doesn't exhaust any gas, which attracts the logistic industry that aims to "Zero Emission". Also, this truck can charge the battery at night, which improves the efficiency of working time and reduces the burden of drivers.
Its gross vehicle weight is 7.5 tons class, and it takes a maximum of about 1.5 hours for quick charging, and a maximum of about 11 hours for normal charging, which has a running range of about 100km. The electric drive system is equipped with a motor and six high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs.
eCanter is installed following safety functions; Advanced Emergency Braking System, Electronic Stability Program, Lane Departure Warning System.
"Advanced Emergency Braking System(AEBS)" is installed to renew the model for the first time. A high-spec radar mounted on the front bumper detects the vehicles running in front, the parking vehicles, and moving pedestrians. When the radar detects the danger of a crash, it alerts the driver and support to activate the brakes to avoid the crash.
"Electronic Stability Program (ESP)" constantly detects the vehicle attitude with sensors. When there is a risk of rollover on a curve, the motor drive and the braking force of the four wheels are controlled to keep the vehicle posture in an appropriate position to help avoid the risk of rollover.
Also, "Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)"is, when the vehicle deviates from the lane without operating the blinker, it detects the deviation with a white line recognition camera. A buzzer alerts the driver to support safe driving.

2) Garbage Truck "e-Canter Sensor Collect"
*The truck of this picture is the normal type of garbage truck.
MITSUBISHI FUSO showed the concept truck "e-Canter Sensor Collect". The appearance looks the same as a normal garbage compactor. However, this truck has some sensors around the whole unit, which can follow the operator by detecting him with the sensors. This concept truck will be not released near future, unfortunately, but this technology should be installed in the future to various trucks other than a garbage truck.
